- Ile aux Cerfs Island: Île aux Cerfs Island is like the true heaven in earth and therefore the most accessible one of Mauritius. No advance bookings are required as you can just show up at embarcation point in the village of Trou d’eau Douce and arrange for a boat transfer. You can also add boat tours to the Grand River South East (GRSE) waterfall and do water activities as well as land activities in the island.
- Le Morne Brabant hike: Le Morne Brabant Mountain is the place where you can enjoy a breath-taking sight of the shore and it is a cultural site which runaway slaves considered as refuge as well as a tragic spot where they also committed suicide from fear of getting caught. Hence, the public access to the mountain has been granted in 2016 after a long legal battle with the private land owners. Now it is name as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The trail is 3.5 km long: from sea level to 555m at the top. The first part, up to the mid-view point, requires moderate effort that is walk only. The second part, from the mid-view point to the top, requires climbing (ropes are available). Children are not allowed to hike the second part and it is not recommended under rainy weather.
- Caudan Waterfront: The Caudan is one of the oldest mall built in Mauritius. Located on the docks of Port-Louis which is the capital city of Mauritius. It includes many high-end boutiques, duty-free shops, and cheap food vendors. It also hosts two great business hotels: Le Labourdonnais and Le Suffren. It is one of the top places to do shopping in Mauritius with a variety of clothes and local souvenirs. You can as well enjoy the several varieties of Mauritian cuisines.
- Bagatelle mall: Since 2011, Bagatelle mall has become the most popular one of the Island and is the Mauritian favourite mall. Located in the centre of Mauritius, it is easily accessible from any place throughout the island and includes a large parking space. - Grand Bassin: Grand Bassin is a lake high up in the mountains about 1800 feet above sea level. It is the most sacred Hindu place on the island of Mauritius and there is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva here.The people of the island believe it is filled with holy waters from the River Ganges in India, and people make pilgrimages from their homes to the lake on foot on the occasion of Maha Shivratee. There is also a 108 ft statue of lord Shiva and Durga.

- Black River George National Park: There are glimpses of the elegant white Paille-en-queue flying over the canopy in these forested hills, criss-crossed with hiking trails. An easy two hour walk (9km) on a forest track from Petrin Information Centre will take you to the peak itself – the highest point on the island.
